About the game
Toon Tennis is a casual tennis game built on real tennis rules, where each character has their own distinctive abilities and special moves. Rather than a realistic simulation, it focuses on the fun of pulling off moves you’d only see in a manga.
This game is currently in development. The details below reflect the direction at the planning stage and may change before release.
Tennis × Character × Skill
The fundamentals of tennis — serving, rallying, positioning, and hitting — stay the same. On top of that come special shots with wildly curving trajectories, instant dashes, support skills that disrupt your opponent’s skill gauge, and signature special moves for each character. The core is the mind game: not just execution, but thinking about character traits, when to use skills, and how to counter your opponent’s.
Characters
Each character has 4–5 active skills, 1 unique passive, and base stats. They’re divided into distinct play styles such as all-rounder, power, speed, technique, counter, and trick.
Game modes
- VS AI: Practice characters and skill combos against AI at different difficulty levels
- Singles / Doubles: 1v1 matches, and 2v2 matches where you split roles with a teammate
- Online multiplayer: Quick match to find opponents automatically, and custom rooms to play with friends
